Molly grew up in Pennsylvania and began to work professionally as a teenager at Philadelphia's Prince Music Theater. Her first professional production included The Snow Queen. Soon after she played Little Red Ridinghood in the Arden Theater s production of Into the Woods for which she was nominated for the Barrymore Award. She portrayed the same role as Into the Woods in Broadway aged 15, and earned an Drama League Award nomination. Molly was on Broadway in the 2004 production of Fiddler on the Roof. Then she attended Princeton University where she was part of the Triangle Club and graduated in 2008 with an B.A. In this period when she made her feature film debut in the Disney film College Road Trip as Wendy Greenhut. While she was in college, Molly began her acting career with Disney College Road Trip playing Wendy Greenhut. Molly began her career after graduating with Off-Broadway performances, such as End Days and The Wonderful Maladys at HBO Pilot. Molly was a part of numerous regional productions, including The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee by Barrington Stage Company in 2008 and the North Shore Music Theater's The Diary of Anne Frank in 2010. The Diary of Anne Frank at Westport Country Playhouse in which Molly played Anne. Molly has been a star in a variety of regional productions, including The Diary of Anne-Frank at Westport Country Playhouse's performance in the year 2010.
